We were quite disappointed with our private ski lesson experience yesterday.
Firstly, we were assigned a non English speaking instructor. That’s quite a surprise given we have been communicating in English. This resulted in a lot of miscommunication and made it extremely hard to understand what he was trying to teach.
Secondly, the schedule clearly states in the voucher that the ski lesson is in 2 parts, 1030-1230 and 1430-1630. He taught us from 1030-1230 and gave 1 hour break time, resumed at 1330 and ended at 1430. It took a very long time to explain that the lesson is one hour short. Eventually he ended the lesson ard 1500.

Booked 3 instructors for 6 of us for 2 hours / 4 hours private ski lessons at Yongpyong Ski Resort 3 months before our trip.
Price for the lesson includes ski rental and lift pass. Prices are reasonable.
Our instructors are Luke, Jo and Taylor (hope we got the names right). The instructors are able to converse in English and are professional. The personal instructions from the instructors are very effective, most of us are able to do the intermediate slope after more practice on the slopes.
They were quick to respond to my emails before the ski season starts. We had some problem trying to contact them once ski season starts.
Overall, we would recommend Jski.

I highly recommend JSKI. My children were assigned 2 different instructors over the 3 days that they had lessons and I am grateful that they had the opportunity to learn under the tutelage of Benny and Tyson. They were encouraging and patient, and most importantly, made learning fun! They were very careful in teaching my children the proper skiing techniques and immediately correcting mistakes. My children can now ski with confidence, and without me worrying about their safety. Thank you so much!

Totally enjoyed our first ski lesson together as a family! Without any prior skiing experience, we were so proud of ourselves that we managed to conquer the ski trail down the slope right after our first 2-hour lesson by Instructor Ross who came from UK. He was so patient (especially with my cheeky 7-year old boy) and very encouraging! Our second lesson on the next day was with Instructor Luke - a Korean who speaks perfect English. He’s equally amazing! Under his coaching, we perfected our stops, turns and muster more courage to glide faster down the slope! Thanks so much, Ross and Luke! You guys have made our first skiing attempt such a fulfilling and enjoyable one!

Our group was quite large...5 families with kids from ages ranging from 4 year olds to teenagers. A few of them had prior experience skiing at other resorts whilst the rest were first-timers.
The JSKI coaches are exceptional! Very helpful and patient in organising the various lesson for different families and guiding the inexperienced ones with the kitting out process. Shout out to Tyson and Ross who are very good with young kids. Very dedicated to their jobs and patient with the kids.

We are group of 8 come with level from novoice to basic skiers. The coach guide you step by step to achieve your goal. He does observe our mistake and pinpoint the improvement. In a short period of lesson, many minor errors have been corrected, such as proper knee position and blade turning . Highly recommend JSKI services

We are group of 5 people, 2 adults and 3 kids (less than 10 years old). We don't know ski before and booked two hours lesson for two days. Both instructors speak english well and professional. We learnt the basic ski skill with Luke on the first day and the next day we taken lift and skied down from the trail with Tyson. He managed to take a good care of us. Almost no fall down at all!
We are able to ski down from the trail alone after 4 hours of training!! Amazing!

One word: Amazing!
They arranged my accommodation well, bring me to and fro park. I got the private lesson with aim to at least pass beginner (hoping for intermediate). With 0 experience, the most talented instructor, Alex, trained me and giving me tips and correcting my mistakes. By the end of my lesson...I managed to ski down difficult slope! Friendly crews. Hope to see you all again soon!

Booked a 4-hour ski lesson through Koreal Trip as my family and I never skiied before, thus a lesson was in order.
At the start, on the night before, we were at first dismayed by a request to start the lesson at 1030 hrs instead of 1000 hrs as agreed as the instructor would have just finished his previous lesson. However, on their own initiative, they said they would make it up with an extra coach in the afternoon session. That kind of allay my disappointment.
At 1030 hrs, we were met by the instructor, a young gentleman by the name of Chan. He spoke passable English and was able to communicate instructions sufficient enough to get us going. The collection of ski equipment went off very smoothly and the skis were in good condition. Despite the presence of a 4 year old, we could see Chan trying his best to coach the family.
By the afternoon session, we were surprised when instead of 1 extra coach, 2 extra coaches came, Tyson and Luke. Thankfully, as Chan was able to dedicate his time with my 4-year-old while Tyson focused on my wife. Tyson and Luke spoke very good English and the latter basically took me and my daughter. Eventually Luke coached my daughter with 4 rounds on the ski slopes (with ski lifts) while Tyson took 2 rounds (as wife was too tired by then). Tyson did not stop there and even went up the ski lift again to see how Luke and Chan were doing, taking some videos and pics for us. What was even admirable was Chan was so patient with my 4-year-old that he took him round 4 times up the ski slope even though my boy preferred to go rather than stop.
All in all, the instructors were friendly and knowledgeable. If I ever should come back again, I would take them up.

Hi,
Recently, my wife and I signed up for Private Ski Lesson with JSKI @ PyongChang. We stayed at Alpensia Ski Resort but the ski place was closed as they were preparing for 2018 Winter Olympics. Nevertheless, we travelled 10min via free shuttle to YongPyong Ski Resort.
There we met our Ski Instructor, Luke. He was definitely very good. He speaks good English, was extremely helpful and went through trouble to explain in great length about techniques of skiing and also took a lot of photos for us!
Believe it our, after 2 hours lesson, both my wife and I could ski on our own, albeit not as good as him but definitely a very proud & enjoyable moment for us.
Thanks Luke once again!
