Incredible place. Really beautiful ocean view, on a hill side in the middle of Tuscany's countryside. We visited in the beginning of December, and were to our surprise, the only people visiting. We were a group of 6, and were taken on a nice tour of the area, the cellar, and the production area.
We tasted 6 wines, which were a mix of the special French grape wine produced at the vineyard, and some Castiglion del Bosco Brunello di Montalcino from the "Mother" vineyard. The tasting was accompanied by bread, cheese and Italian cold cuts.
10 out of 10 experience and worth every cent of the €70 per person, and I would visit tomorrow with no hesitation if I had the chance.

We visited Tenuta Prima Pietra in June of 2022 - what a beautiful place and highlight of a unique part of Tuscany! We had a wonderful private tour and couldn’t get over the incredible view. We learned so much about the region and their wine making. Very friendly staff and welcoming to us English-only speakers. A very cool counterpoint to some the Tuscan wineries with long history and tradition. Definitely worth a visit!

Wonderful hospitality, great wine, beautiful views and delicious food made during fabulous cooking class. This small winery provided a personal experience very different from the large commercial wineries.

Living in California and being wine lovers, we have experienced many different wine tastings, vineyard views, pairings, etc. This would be up there as one of the best, all-around tasting experiences we have had!
Immeditaley upon walking into the winery you are blown away by the views of the sea in the background as you are sourrounded by vineyards. We then had a good tour around the vineyard (right before harvest so there were large clusters still on the vines) and the facilities to learn more about the Italian wine-making process. For the tasting we were sat at a table looking down at the water with nice stemware and an incredible charcuterie plate next to you. The wine was very delicious and reasonably priced for the quality. We were there several weeks ago and are still discussing this tasting since we have returned home.

This was an amazing experience due to the fact that the tour was a private one.

Wat een onvergetelijke ervaring. Na een superontvangst kregen we een uitstekende rondleiding. Mijn 15jarige zoon was enorm geïntrigeerd en gefascineerd door de uitleg die we kregen doorheen het domein en de kelders. Ook de proeverij achteraf was top. Voor mijn zoon en mezelf voorzagen ze een niet-alcoholisch drankje alsook olijfolie met brood om te proeven. Topwijnen op een toplocatie!

A highly informative tour in a stunning hillside setting, followed by a tasting of one white wine (from a sister vineyard) and a vertical tasting of 3 vintages of Prima Pietra’s excellent red. No praise is high enough for our guide Alice who made us feel very welcome and explained the history of the vineyard and every step of the winemaking process. We really enjoyed our visit. Highly recommended.

Sommelier molto gentile e cordiale . Location molto bella , paesaggio mozzafiato . Ottimi affettati ma la degustazione ci ha un po’ delusi . Sempre gli stessi vini ma di annate diverse e comunque non eccellenti .

Siamo felici che abbia apprezzato la vista dalla nostra sala degustazione e l'accoglienza riservata ai nostri clienti.
Per quanto riguarda la degustazione dei nostri vini ci dispiace leggere che non abbia rispettato le sue aspettative. Vorremmo precisare che la nostra cantina produce due sole etichette e di conseguenza le nostre degustazioni sono improntate su annate diverse dello stesso blend.
Ci auguriamo di poterla accogliere nuovamente qui da noi e di farle assaggiare alcune nuove annate.
