It's a beautiful Shrine with a golden tomb I was able to get accommodation with a view of the shrine, it's stunning and a must-visit if you are visiting Qom

Auf dem Weg nach Kashan haben wir spontan in Qom Halt gemacht. Direkt am Schrein ist ein Parkhaus. Auf dem Weg zum Schrein sind noch viele Shops, u.a. auch mit der lokalen Süßigkeit.
Scheinbar gibt es mehrere Eingänge. Wir waren zuerst an einem Gate, auf das wir direkt zugelaufen sind. Mein Freund durfte am Gate nicht weiter gehen, weil er eine Fotokamera dabei hatte. Ich kam etwas weiter. Die Tasche wurde kontrolliert, dann stand ich schon zur Ankleide bereit und wurde wieder weggeschickt - zu einem anderen Gate. Nachdem ich es nicht gleich gefunden hatte, bin ich zurück. Daraufhin sagte man uns, dass mein Freund nun doch mitkommen kann und uns wurde noch einmal gesagt wo das Gate ist. Dort angekommen, kam mein Freund schnell rein. Ich dagegen musste ewig auf mein schweres "Gewand" warten, obwohl zig davon herum lagen. Zwischendurch bin ich wieder raus, um zu schauen, ob mein Freund rein gekommen ist. Mit Eingängen für Männer und Frauen weiß man leider nicht, was mit der jeweils anderen Person ist. Nach ca. 20 Minuten wurde mir der Tschador angezogen und ich durfte rein. Mein Freund war schon im Gespräch mit einem Gelehrten, der uns die Anlage, bestehend aus drei Innenhöfen, zeigte. Der Komplex und die verschiedenen Verzierungen sind sehr beeindruckend. Von allen Moscheen/Schreinen, die wir im Iran gesehen haben, fand ich diese Anlage am faszinierendsten. Als wir dort waren, waren auch Pilger aus dem Irak dort. Der Gelehrte hat uns nur die Außenanlage gezeigt. Wir wissen nicht, ob man die Grabkammer betreten darf.
Nach ca. 45 Min. haben wir die Anlage verlassen. Ich war froh den schweren Tschador los zu sein. Eintritt mussten wir nicht bezahlen. Unser Guide wollte auch kein Geld.
Mehr haben wir uns in Qom nicht angeschaut. Die Stadt war uns dann doch zu "konservativ".

È un vero santuario di religione passata e presente. Una spianata grandiosa con 4 ingressi, cupole d'oro e pregevoli cestelli di ceramica e stucco. Con tutto il rispetti per i mausolei, che però sprigionano nel mio io soltanto algide sensazioni, ovvero rimango di pietra, altri aspetti mi hanno colpito. Abbiamo assistito ad un funerale, o meglio al passaggio di corsa di un feretro portato a spalla dagli amici urlanti perché questa era la volontà del defunto. C'era un gruppo di devoti islamici che intonava a voce alta concitata versetti inneggianti contro gli increduli non ancora convertiti con tanto di bandiere e volantini. Iman severi che controllavano il comportamento delle donne fasciate negli chador. Un altra guida, docente di cultura islamica ci ha accolto nel suo magnifico studio in perfetto stile rococò e lì finalmente, fuori dai pianti e dalle grida, abbiamo discusso di religione.

We stopped in the Holy City of Qom on our way back to Tehran and visited the Holy Shrine of Fatima Masumeh who was the sister of Iman Reza and revered as a Saint.
We were allowed to enter the Mosque and the Shrine area and observe the devotion of those who had come to be blessed. There was such a calm and spiritual atmosphere within the Mosque despite the crowds. Such an experience, not to be missed.
As a lady I had to wear a chador but this was lent to me in the office at no cost.

It's a Holy Shrine. All legitimate desires fullfill here. Can't explain in words the blessings, peace and solace one can get here . simply it's a Paradise on Earth ❤️❤️❤️❤️.

This shrine is a very large complex with many Minarets and a very large golden dome witch is holy for the Shia Muslims and it is the burial ground for the sister of one one the Imams in Shia Islam.

If you like visit a 1200 historical site in Qom visit this place. You can see more than 270 killo gram gold on the dome.
Try to visit in the morning around 10 a.m and sumer around 8 a.m

We've seen several shrines in Iran, but this one tops them all. Security was not too bad, but my wife had to wear a chador. It was very busy, and as non-Muslims, we could only get a glimpse of the incredible mirror tile-work within the shrine itself. The associated mosque is simply stunning. A nice way to end our 17-day tour of this amazing country.

One of the most crowded, holy places in the world. Believe it or not, it's worth seeing the place that those who believe to visit, to believe with them, or if you don't believe to see how someone believes. You must be resistant to crowds of people, but if you are here just to see you will find places where you can observe :) I liked that. One of the most imresive places I have visited.

This is an interesting shrine to visit... though foreigners are not allowed to enter the shrine and there is quite a bit of hassle with security at the entrance gate
