A Unique Experience

Such a wonderful experience. I had heard about it before, but the actual visit was so much better than what I expected. We spent about three hours there during a working day, but yet they welcomed us with opened arms. During the visit, the owner explains and shows the whole process of how the blue glaze on ceramics is made and you can even make your own piece. You can feel and share the positive energy and love that the owner puts in the workshop. They have also set up a small shop if one likes to buy a piece or two as souvenir.

The owner was super nice and supportive. After explaining the whole fantastic process of making these beautiful pieces of handicrafts, he also gave us a tour of all back of house spaces where their crew actually make those stuffs. It was a true amazing experience.

a MUST GO in Qom!

Booked Kharmohre workshop online just the night before we went there. They replied promptly and made the transport arrangements promptly as well.

I was truly amazed by the sincerity of the teachers and how willing they are in helping us to complete our kharmohre beads. For the 2h experience I had there, I totally enjoyed myself as they were immensely patient and polite with me. For only USD$20, I had an amazing experience and I will receive my kharmohre beads at home in a month. I also made some kharmohre pieces to be sold later at their charity sale.

In addition to sight seeing, go for an experiential learning at Saadatmand Crafts! You will not regret it!

I remember buying Khamohre from Tajrish square when I was a kid. I still have the round blue necklace from my childhood. Finding Kharmohre again in 2017, brought me back to the days I walked in the streets of Tehran with my mom shopping. I got a kharmohre Jewelry set for my daughter who is born in USA and she loved it. Prices are pretty reasonable :)

Attending Kharmohre workshop was a unique experience. I received my own designed beads two weeks after the workshop.The beads were fired in a clay capsule and i had to open it to see my beads. Loved the moment when I opened the capsule and found my own designed beads in the glazing material.
