well worth a visit

We went to collect a couple of mugs which we had ordered online . What a wonderful gallery I could have bought everything in the shop we ended up with a glass worktop saver, a couple of place mats and a coaster as well as the mugs! All the items in the shop are of excellent quality . We were greeted by a very nice man and a cup of coffee we were not pressured into buying anything and enjoyed a leisurely look at all the brilliant art work and the videos and live cameras what a talent , what a great place to visit.

Fantastic place to visit

We visited on Wednesday for the first time and really enjoyed it. We were greeted with a lovely offer of a drink and encouraged to look around. Well wow, what an artist Robert is. There wasn't one item we didn't like, I could have spent a fortune there. I did buy a few bits and will treasure them. While we were there someone bought in an injured owl and Robert and one of his staff dealt with it. As he walked through I said what a wonderfully talented man he was and he said he tried. I said more than tried, he definitely succeeded. He seemed a very unassuming man and I would have liked to have talked more with him, but I knew he was busy with the owl.

I would highly recommend visiting here if you like wonderful wildlife art in a beautiful setting, it gives your eyes a feast!!

Wonderful experience

Visited for second time but after several years and brought friends with us.
Welcomed with offers of refreshments, allowed to wander around the gallery and shop.
Wonderful artwork. Only problem is which one to choose.
We managed to choose a print, together with a calendar and Christmas cards.
Being able to view the live cameras was a privilege.

A little slice of paradise

What a wonderful treat to visit such a beautiful gallery in stunning countryside . We too we’re greeted by Jayne who offered us a really warm welcome , tour and a coffee. The gallery is beautifully curated with a film ( which I found inspirational for my own painting ) The paintings are so lifelike almost photo like and really capture the animals charm and personalities. It was really interesting to see the video screens and all the hard work it takes to capture the wildlife in such a serene setting . I can’t wait to return . I think guided tours , talks and workshops would be a wonderful addition too . Highly recommended for all ages .

Hidden gem high in the Yorkshire Dales

The Robert E Fuller gallery is a wonderful visit for anyone with an interest in wildlife, art or both. My wife and I visited and stayed in the area especially to visit the gallery and were not disappointed! On arrival we were warmly welcomed and given complimentary cups of tea by Jane (freshly ground coffee also available) and were allowed lots of time to enjoy the gallery and choose our purchases. We also got a little behind the scenes tour and met some of the team who do such a wonderful job.

We look forward to going back!

Well signposted, put thixendale in sat nav sings as soon as we got there, beautiful surroundings, very friendly staff, obviously great pictures, good shop, great place to spend a couple of hours 👍

Outstanding works of art

We are so glad we visited the gallery last week, where we were able to take our time browsing the beautiful works of art and gift items. There was no pressure to buy anything but we chose two prints which arrived today. We are delighted with them and we hope we will be able to visit again when we return to Yorkshire.

Stopped here on the way home from a weekend away. Stunning location...and made to feel welcome by the lady in the gallery. The prints, paintings and other items on display were beautifully displayed. It has given me thought for what I want to buy! Exquisite.

Visit to the gallery

Visited the gallery and we where all warmly welcomed with a cuppa. We browsed the gallery which is so well set out with so many stunning paintings and merchandise.
I was bought my Christmas present by my wife which I unfortunately have to wait until the 25th December to open.
We were visiting from Suffolk our family in Yorkshire and I can wholeheartedly recommend a visit to the gallery.

Wonderful wildlife experience

Returned to this wonderful gallery o f Robert's paintings of wildlife including squirrels,stoats and rabbits etc.Unfortunately Robert had gone to Scotland to do a programme for The One Show.We were offered coffee whilst we browsed with no intervention and hard sell.We purchased a framed print,mug and calendar at very reasonable prices.There is a large car park with disabled access and access to a toilet.Covid gel is provided and masks if you prefer.
