Staff were rude, course is poor, other members were very rude to new coming players, left unaware a competition was on and ended up being kicked off the course.

Let down by range

Nice 9 hole course. Range is rubbish however with balls from the 1970’s. Nice friendly staff however and a great setting. Feels like a missed opportunity

Struggling with the weather

The course is a decent 9 hole course with different tees for front and back 9, plus separate fairways for the first/tenth and the 9th/18th having different greens so you do get a different feel on each 9.
However, the course has struggled in the recent weather with some tees and a couple of greens very much the worse for wear. Hopefully they will recover quickly.

Good place to pop in for a meal

Went to Spinney’s motorhome centre. Popped into the golf club for breakfast and sat outside on the tables. Would recommend, as food was hot and tasty and the staff were lovely

Holiday Golf 🏌️‍♂️

Visited with family to try foot golf. This was great fun. We felt very welcome and decided to visit again to try the driving range and the par 3. Although we are far from proficient golfers and didn’t have the correct attire as we were on holiday we always felt welcome. Enjoyed the par 3 course.
The coffee shop provided perfect refreshments.

I am a van driver, always on the lookout for a cuppa and refreshment. Golfing friends often tell me the lovely meals they get at their Clubs. So thought as I often pass this place with its big all welcome sign I would give this place.

First its easy to park and the little cafe has nice views onto the Cheshire countryside. A lovely lady was quick to welcome me and find me a table. This was breakfast time so just a few people in However a good indication of the quality was the number of tables with reserved indicators on then for lunch

My order for a full English breakfast and coffee was soon taken, and the mug of coffee was soon available to refresh a tired traveler

The breakfast followed shortly after, a full plate at a reasonable price, £5.95. Hot couldnt touch the plate

It was really good , only a couple of points I would make (A) because I`m from the old School and (B) cos I`m trying to be new school with regard to plastic - DITCH THE LITTLE SACHETS OF SAUCE FOR GOOD OLD FASHIONED BOTTLES - yes they get mucky and need the occasional clean but much better!

Next Toast was nice, but would have been a lot better with some good homemade marmalade that I am sure the good county of Cheshire can provide and Marmite!!!

On a markrting point include the drink in the breakfast deal - just up the price say to £6.50 so its all inclusive!

I left with the same lovely lady wishing me a safe journey - and a wish that I return - which I will, get the marmalade ready!

Paid a visit here for brunch for my partner's birthday. Both ordered cheese and ham panini with a hot chocolate and a cup of tea. We both absolutely enjoyed our meals

Staff were very friendly
Definitely returning soon

Enforced stop - delightful staff , coffee and panini . Didn’t play golf but the cafe is great !

Would never have visited on our way back to Warwickshire but for the M6 being closed . Lovely welcoming place and people . The cappuccino was first class and we weren’t going to have any food but we did as the menu and specials board looked lovely . Tuna jacket potato and the cheese , tomato and onion panini were first class . Credit where it’s due . Well done guys and hope more people pay you a visit .

I've being playing golf here for the last 2 years, probably about 20 rounds, its a great pay and play course.
The course drains really well and nice flat course. Its a 9 hole golf corse with different tees for tge back 9.
I've also played the footgolf here on the par 3 corse which is a laugh for anybody any age to play.
