What route do I take (what is my train number and which transfers do I need to get on) to get to the hotel from the airport mid day on a Monday?

Thank you for your question and also thank you to the above poster for the 2 answers.
We sincerely hope they have arrived on time, but to make it clear for future reference.
In the Airport go to the the underground/metro Aeroporto Station. There you have to buy a VivaViagem Card (valid for Metro, Bus and Tram and is rechargeable).
The line that starts at the Airport is the Red Line, direction São Sebastião. You have to exit on Saldanha Station. Take the Exit towards Praça Duque de Saldanha / Av. Praia da Vitória, keep following this information until you get to the barriers. After crossing the barrier turn left. On ground level, take the first street that appears on your left (Av. Praia da Vitória) walk abaout 2 minutes and you are at the Hotel Olissippo Saldanha entrance.
Just remember that from Saldanha you can also catch the Yellow Line. Plus the Red Line also intersects the Blue and the Green Lines in different Stations. All 3 will help you get to Downtown, or other parts of the City.

Get the Viva Viagem card which gives you access to the metro, bus, tram

Take the red line going Sao Sebastiao and get off on Saldanha Station. Walk to the hotel from there about 2 min walk.
