Hello. Congratulations on your marriage! I totally understand about wanting to be sure about choosing a place for your honeymoon. I personally feel that The Shore at Katathani would be a lovely place for a honeymoon. However, I don't think the other hotel buildings on the property would be as good for a honeymoon because they are not as nice and quiet as The Shore at Katathani rooms. This is because there are a lot more people, children, activity, etc. in those areas. You can certainly walk over there and do any of those things, but The Shore at Katathani is nicer for a honeymoon in my opinion. I travel a lot and before I book a hotel, I do a lot of research. I would highly recommend whenever you are booking a hotel at any time to type the name of the hotel into Trip Advisor and click on "All Traveler Photos" not "Management Photos." The traveler photos have been taken by real travelers and I have found that they usually give you the overall truth about what a place is like.
A few tips about The Shore at Katathani: If you wish to have a massage, the prices a bit less expensive at the spa that is at the other part of the resort, not the one at The Shore at Katathani. I can't remember the name, but it was a building that stands alone on the resort property. Also, there is an Italian restaurant called La Scala that is on the resort property that is very romantic in the evening with a piano player playing soft music. They serve Italian food if you like that. Have a wonderful time where ever you decide to go and I wish you a lifetime of prosperity and happiness. Please do not hesitate to as me any more quesitons if needed.

I'm going to do my best to answer your questions. I stayed in a pool villa last summer. The villa did have its own private, although small, pool and a couple of chairs around that pool. I'm not sure what a "sunbed is." If you mean chairs, then yes there were a few chairs around the pool. The villa we stayed in was a bit lower than the villa someone else was staying in above us, so they could look down onto our private pool area if they wanted to. Most of the villas are up a steep hill. An employee would drive guests up the hill on a golf cart. My best guest on how to get a pool villa where other guests can't see you when you're at the pool is to request one that is at the highest point up the hill as possible. The Shore at Katathani is the nicest section of the resort. You are able to dine at any of the other breakfast places (I remember there being three) and you can use any of the pools. I remember there being around 3 pools.) By the way, the breakfast area at The Shore at Katathani is the nicest and closest to the beach any of the other breakfast restaurants at the resort. Enjoy and have a wonderful trip!
