OK. let me help you. 1 - Yes, WiFi available in all rooms n it is good. 2 - There is a big sized TV in every room and yes you have a miríade of channels options including SKY channels. 3 - Yes, you can choose vegan foods in the hotel restaurant called " Avó Micas Restaurant" , the cuisine is very healthy. Also other options outside,as for instance, you can try 250 metres away (turning to the left side when you are walking out of the property main door) the restaurant of Hotel Enotel Golf Santo da Serra, wich serves all nights a buffet dinner and it always have several very decent vegan options! the price is 18€/person except beverages. Buffet includes entries, soups, main courses, salads and so on, great variety of desserts and great variety of cheeses. a bottle of water costs 3,50€, a coffee costs 1,50€.There is also another good restaurant, this one with better prices and very well served the dishes, and it is in Estalagem A Quinta and it is 1km away from Hotel Portobay (you go the same way you go to Hotel Enotel but the difference is that to Enotel you have to make a left turn on the first road and to A Quinta you continue straightforward and this Estalagem will be at your right hand side). Here you have a variety of foods in the list. Cuisine is also very good. Prices are lower and an advantage is that you share one plate with your half because each dish is very well served. 2 people can pay total of 15€. 4 - No, rooms have no sun loungers BUT you have these sun loungers inside the pool area and in the gardens! And both are very quiet and relaxing as there is no noise here...only birds and the sky above your head ;-) 5 - From the airport you will take around 15 minutes to reach Portobay Serra Golf and the cost I don't know because I had a car. But I'm sure not more than 15€-20€. 6 - Rooms are SUPER SUPER SUPER COMFY. Temperature is always great in the rooms and in the hotel areas. 7 - By car you take around 25 minutes by the express way to reach Funchal. The trio is very comfortable and the views are super awesome as you pass through several tunnels and you can enjoy the landscapes of the island, the ocean, the hills, the "holes" between the hills, landscapes are amazing everywhere in this island. If you like Nature, this Island will show you how Nature shaped this piece of land in the middle of Atlantic and how locals had to adapt their lives to this beautiful but winding Nature! 8 - Answered above on 3) but you also have other option in the village of Santo da Serra, inside the Market. There are options to eat. But I'm not sure if they will serve decent vegan meals... (you will be fan of the 2 options I gave you on 3) ) 9 - There are mosquitoes in the island but mostly in some areas you feel the. I have been in many parts of the island and only in the north like Santana, Boaventura, or even Curral das Freiras, I felt mosquitoes flying around but not all days of my stay! So it is quite difficult to answer you this...Anyway its better to bring mosquitoes repellent! I really hope that my answers can help you and hope you have a great time in Madeira Island!
