the hotel throughout is very luxurious, the staff are more than accommodating, very helpful and friendly, the rooms were well equipped and the best nights sleep in a long time, the beds were wonderful and comfortable. the restaurant food was fantastic, well presented and tasty cooked by an excellent chef, i would recommend this hotel to anyone staying pleasure, business or otherwise.
After a wonderful stay in Southport at Bliss hotel the staff couldn’t do enough for us dinner bed breakfast champagne chops and late check out £169 was well worth it !! Booked Barton Manor as we should have stayed few weeks ago but spa wasn’t complete Turned up today executive room number 7 hot hot hot not hotels fault there was a fan but tv wasn’t working or the remote wasn’t asked at reception about another fan and reported tv Got a fan all back smashed in at back maintenance man came looked at tv we went out for a drink came back to be told not fixed🤬 Had a drink in walled garden asked if they could squeeze us in for evening meal only to be told a curt no!!Eventho told the guy of our experiences of the day Ordered two drinks which thought might have been on the house due to our awful experience but no went to guys hamlet for food instead was very good Sorry not sorry won’t be back here …
We stayed at this hotel to attend a wedding (not held at the hotel). The building and grounds are extremely nice and looked after. Everything was first class throughout our stay however, the rooms really are small especially for more than 1 person. This weekend, the weather has been absolutely scorching hot and this made spending time in our room unbearable, and sleeping was near impossible. There was a fan in the room but this didn't really help at all. We would have loved to have air con in the room but unfortunately this isn't fitted to the rooms. Would we stay again? probably not due to the size of the rooms otherwise a 100pc yes we would.
I have stayed at Barton Grange Hotel in the past and were very satisfied with my stay. However on this occasion now it has become Barton Manor Hotel and under Best Western Group it seems to have lowered the standards. Also the card machine is unlike nothing i have used before it is touch sensitive and very easy to make mistakes when putting in pin numbers. The Cooked Breakfast is not a good quality as it used to be as items are no longer available on the menu. Also when i was in the room, i requested a fan as the room was very hot and i had to go and ask and no fan came so had to go and ask again.
Stayed foe two nights Slow check inn..receptionist on the phone ! Room did not wow. Beds comfortable but noisy bathroom fan and unit outside bedroom window. Black mould in shower which we had cleaned off. Breakfast average and minimalistic. Most staff pleasant. Plenty of parking . Don’t think we’d stay again it needs a serious uplift!
