Quirky hotel with a few questionable design elements

Hotel March is a quirky boutique hotel that we stayed for 2 nights. If you are driving, be advised that the carpark and lots are narrow, especially for larger cars like SUVs. The room has all the basic amenities and even a PC, though it is likely an old one (Windows 7). We stayed in the suite room so it is a double story room with a large bath tub and a TV room on the second floor. The main room is spacious and has a rustic/industrial design to it. On a closer look, however, one gets the feeling that the designer has placed more emphasis on aesthetics rather than functionality. Bathroom and toilet are separate (which is okay) but their doors rattle when you open/close them because they are held by strong magnets. There are no hooks inside the bathroom, so you will need to stretch your hand out to a thin hanger on the door for the towel, along with your clothes. The wash basin is lower than a standard height, even for an Asian. Large portions of the mirror above the basin is strangely covered by metal plates resembling the stripes of the UK flag, rendering it almost useless or requiring acrobatic maneuvering to be able to see any parts of your face. On the plus (and probably most important) side, the bed and pillows are comfortable!…
