My wife and I will be staying with Jin Jiang International Hotel Xi'an on May 29th and May 30th. We will be traveling with a tour group from Sinorama Holidays. I know that the normal electricity in China is 220 volt. I know that some hotels offer special outlets (usually in the bathroom) which can be used with 110 volt appliances (hair dryers, battery chargers, etc) which are normal in the USA.
Do the guest rooms in your hotel provide access to any 110 volt outlets??
Thank you very much!

"Jin Jiang International Hotel Xi'an" used to be "Kempinski Hotel Xi'an" in the tradition of an European luxury hotel in China, which means that wall plugs in the guestrooms are mostly designed for European and Chinese appliances with 220-240 voltage. The plug adaptors are also mostly European and Chinese styles. Guest bathrooms have a 110-115 volt shaver outlet with US style plug. As for hair dryer, each guest room already has a hair dryer which is ready to be used by guests. As for laptops, phones and cameras, their chargers are for multi-voltage environments, which can be used even in the rooms with 220-240 voltage outlets. You can bring plug adaptors compatible with European or Chinese plugs to be on safe side though. If you happen to bring in any devices which are compatible with only 110-115 volt electric system, you had better not use them without voltage transformer.
In general luxury hotels in China have more luxurious amenities than comparable hotels in Europe and U.S., and Jin Jiang International Hotel Xi'an will not disappoint you. Enjoy your stay there.
