Waters Edge Lodge has all you could want for fishing. Kelly and his staff make you feel like family. Their service goes up and above. Everything is provided including the float plane from Juneau airport to Elfin Cove, gear, bait, boat, food, clothes washing, fish packing, catamaran ride back to airport. Lodge is very clean and comfy. We were lucky and only had one day of rain. I highly recommend this lodge. Thank you Kelly, John, Camry, Kayla, Lupe and Ruby for making my husband’s bucket list an A++ experience. We’ll be back.

Kelly and the team looked after us extremely well with great food, good company and excellent fishing. The dock staff ensured that the boats were clean, well stocked and ready for another great day out on the water every night and morning. The area has some great sights with whales, sea otters, bears and numerous other animals, birds and sea life. Salmon were plentiful, Halibut were getting a but scarce but it was the last week of the season and plenty of bottom feeding fish. I'm intending on going back in the future with a few other people that I knowthat want to experience Alaskan fishing.

This started off as a bucket list trip and turned into a yearly adventure. Absolutely beautiful location with exceptional staff and owners. Great food, hospitality and very clean rooms. No details missed here, everything you need to catch limits of salmon and trophy halibut. No hidden fees or extra expenses. If you enjoy fishing, and I mean fishing, not someone baiting your hook and putting out the rods while taking turns with others reeling in the next fish, then this is it! Fish with your spouse or friend on your own boat, how and where you want.

The lodge provides excellent 24ft, center console boats for self guided fishing. Guides are available. The fishing areas around the lodge abound in all types of salmon, halibut and bottom fish. The rooms are rustic and comfortable. Meals are home cooked and excellent. All raingear, fishing gear, and bait is provided. The staff is friendly and very helpful, all for a reasonable price.

This was a great place to spend a week fishing for salmon, halibut, rock fish, cod, (pretty much any northern Pacific fish). Lodge has a friendly atmosphere, small enough that it has that personal feel. The fishing is done in a self guided format. I was there with three friends. We had our own boat equipped with salmon and halibut poles, bait, down rigger, state of the art fish finder, GPS, 2 Way radio, powerful ocean rated motor. Big enough boat to feel safe in the inlets or open ocean. We fished when ever and where ever we wanted. Its a great place to unwind in the middle of the most beautiful, wild country (with the right amount of comfort) I have ever been in.
