The people are very nice and make you feel like a welcome guest. Susan checked us in and was so nice. She also works in the bar and told us about several places to go hiking with spectacular views while she was serving us.
The people who operate Herringtons Sierra Pines are all kind and helpful. The property is dated, but not inappropriately so for the region. Rooms are immaculately clean, but again very dated. 1970's panelling. No air conditioning (and it's needed in California's new drought stricken climate)...더 보기

Loved this little rustic hotel. Basic rooms, nice walk down to the River with private tables and chairs for the guest. Chief is awesome and Jose who works the fish pond is wonderful with the children. I do have to mention that the hotel maids...더 보기

Is there fishing other than your pond somewhere near by? Like walking distance.

I think the rate was about $120/night. This was during the bike race so prices were higher than normal. The Yuba River is right behind the hotel and can walk to it. I do not know how the fishing is though. Not sure about... 더 보기
