허니문에 이어 결혼 12주년을 맞아 아들과 함께 2번째로 찾은 몰디브여서 시작부터 의미있는 가족 여행이었답니다. 그리고 이루푸시는 특별한 우리의 여행을 잊지 못할 추억으로 만들어 주었어요. 모든 직원들이 늘 친절하게 인사해주고, 리조트 규모만큼 많은 투숙객들이 있음에도 우리의 룸넘버까지 기억해 주는 직원들이 감명 깊었습니다. 그 중에서도 우리 가족을 살뜰히 챙겨준 버틀러 Jane Li에게 감사 인사를 전하고 싶어요. 벌레에 물려 아들 몸에 두드러기처럼 발진이 올라와 당황스러웠는데 Jane이 침착하게 설명해주면서 우리를 안심시켜줬고 클리닉에 데려가 의사선생님에게 상황 설명을 해주며 연고 처방을 받을 수 있게 도와줬어요. 타지에서 아이가 아프면 너무 정신이 없는데 Jane이 있어 큰 힘이 되었답니다. 그 밖에도 결혼 증빙 서류를 챙겨가지 않아 원칙적으로는 받을 수 없는 기념일 서비스를 Jane이 모두 챙겨주었고, 처음에 배정 받은 방이 방파제가 다소 가까이 있어 아쉬워하니 다음날 바로 다른방으로 바꿔주어서 7일 내내 만족하며 지냈답니다. 비오는 날 밤 빌라에 딸린 풀이 좋아서 밤수영을 하는데 방키를 방에 두고 문을 닫은 바보같은 실수를 ㅜㅜ 카톡으로 도움요청을 했고 우산 쓰고 바로 달려와준 Jane… 지금도 민망한 기억이네요~영어 뿐 아니라 한국말도 정말 잘하는 Jane~ 한국분들 이루푸시 가시면 Jane을 찾으세요!! ㅋㅋ
5성급 리조트에서 별도의 공지없이 갑작스러운 정책변경(일부 레스토랑의 유료화)으로 좀 당황스럽긴 했지만 아이와 함께 하는 몰디브여행에 있어서 음식 및 키즈 프로그램, Fluid 같은 키즈 전용 풀장은 아주 만족스러웠습니다. 수심은 다소 깊은 편이어서 아이와는 2번정도 같이 스노클링을 했는데 큰 무리는 없었고 예쁜 물고기에 황홀했습니다. 스팟을 찾지 못해서인지 거북이랑 가오리를 보지 못해서 아쉬웠어요 ㅠㅠ
아이 뿐 아니라 우리 부부에게도 영원히 잊지 못할 추억을 만들어준 이루푸시… 헤어지면서 Jane과 약속했듯이 다시 만날 수 있길 기대해 봅니다.

작은 섬에서 6박해야된다 해서 심심하지 않을까 하는 걱정이 있었지만 정말 쓸데없는 걱정이었음. 바다만 봐도 심신이 정화됨을 느낄 수 있고 종종 있는 활동들도 나름 재미있음. 또 식당이 많아 음식을 다양하게 먹을 수 있는 것도 매우 훌륭한 장점. 거기다가 우리 담당 버틀러였던 제인이 세심하게 신경써준 덕에 더욱더 편하고 평생 기억에 남을 만한 신행을 할 수 있었음.

담당자 Ashraf 가 굉장히 친절했습니다. 필요한 걸 요구하기도 전에 불편한 점을 물어봐 해결해 주려는 모습들이 인상깊었고 무제한으로 제공되는 음료 덕에 배부르고 만족스러운 여행을 즐길 수 있었습니다. 덕분에 2월 마지막 주, 너무 즐겁고 행복한 기억 만들고 갑니다. 리조트 직원들이 모두 친절해요. 길 가다가 눈이 마주치면 웃으며 인사를 해주어 몰디브에 대한 행복한 추억이 배가 되었습니다.

운이 좋아서 야광 플랑크톤을 직접 목격했습니다. 제 인생 버킷리스트에 있었던 걸 눈으로 보니 너무 경이롭고 예뻤어요. 아이슬란드 오로라를 본 것 다음으로 좋았습니다. 레스토랑이 다양하고 메뉴도 많기에 먹는걸 좋아하는 분들이 오시면 좋아하실 듯 합니다. 올인클루시브의 음료 역시 숙박 내내 다양하게 먹을 수 있어 좋을듯 합니다. 다만 밴드와 디제잉은 조금 실망했습니다. 흥을 돋기에는 가족 단위가 많기에.. 오히려 재즈나 신나는 팝음악이 좋지 않을까 싶습니다. 친구들과 여행으로 왔는데 한국에서 출발해 섬에 도착하기까지 25시간이 걸렸습니다. 매우 긴 여행이었지만 해변이 너무 아름다워 금새 피로가 사라졌습니다. 이 리조트는 가족 단위의 모임에 매우 적합해 보입니다. 아이들이 놀기 좋은 풀장이 있고, 운동 좋아하시는 분들이 좋아할만한 테니스장, 탁구장, 축구장 등이 구비되어 있어 좋습니다, 직원들은 매우 친절하며 섬이 큼에도 여유롭게 이동할 수 있습니다. 어플을 설치하여 예약하는 시스템을 이용할 수 있어 좋았습니다. 체크인 전에도 예약할 수 있으니 오시기 전에 예약하시기 바랍니다. 대부분 원하는 익스커션과 점심 저녁 식사를 예약했습니다. 다만 메뉴가 너무 다양하여 바로바로 시키기 어려운 단점이 있습니다. 어플에서 미리 메뉴를 골라 예약하는 시스템이 있으면 좋을 것 같습니다. 남쪽 해변에서 석양을 바라보고 해수욕했던 경험이 매우 좋았습니다. 하와이 와이키키보다 더 예뻤거든요! 머물게된다면 다섯시 이후 남쪽 해변에서 수영하시길 추천드립니다. 워터빌라는 풀빌라가 북쪽에 있어 석양이 아름다울 것으로 예상됩니다. 저희는 남쪽의 비치숙소와 동쪽의 일반 워터빌라 근처에서 머물렀는데 워터빌라에서는 상어가족과 물고기 떼등을 볼 수 있어 좋았습니다. 하지만 라군에서는 산호초를 찾기 어려워 다양한 물고기를 보고 싶으시면 익스커션에 포함된 스노클링을 하시기를 추천드립니다. 해변 근처 숙소는 생각보다 프라이빗해서 좋았고, 걸어가면 석양이 지는 해변을 볼 수 있어 좋았습니다. 다만 비치 프론트가 아니어서 저희 파라솔과 의자가 비치에 없어 큰 의미가 없다는 단점이 있습니다. 물론 해변까지의 접근성이 매우 좋아 공간이 충분치 않아 배치하기 어렵다는 점은 충분히 이해했습니다. 해변 근처 숙소 역시 걸어가면 30초도 걸리지 않았기에 오후에 매트를 가지고 방문하기를 추천합니다. 인터넷은 집과 레스토랑등에서는 와이파이 이용이 가능하지만 섬이 워낙 크기에 말레 본섬에서 유심을 챙겨오시길 추천드립니다. 17기가 이용시 35달러로 구매했고, LTE 우선으로 연결하면 됩니다. 친구들 모두 편안하게 잘 이용했습니다. 담당직원에게 문의할 때 whatsapp 메신저로 의사소통이 가능해 좋았습니다. 룸 담당 Shafan 은 매우 친절하고 빠른 응답을 해주어 고마웠습니다. 지나치는 모든 직원들이 친절하게 응대해주어 감사했습니다. 익스커션은 프라이빗, 그룹 단위 이용 가능하며 저희도 아직 숙박중이긴 해서 리뷰하기는 이릅니다. 몰디브 마을 투어, 돌핀 크루즈 등이 기대됩니다. 유료 익스커션은 경우 가격이 합리적으로 보이고, 한두 가지 정도는 신청해 보시길 추천드립니다. 몰디브에서 할 수 있는 대부분의 익스커션이 다양하게 준비되어 있습니다. 마사지와 네일케어등도 준비되어 있으니 신혼부부 커플도 오시면 좋을 듯 합니다. 가격 측면에서는 다른 곳에 비할 데가 없이 만족합니다. 가성비 좋은 최상의 휴식을 보장받을 수 있습니다. 다음에는 아이들과 남편과 꼭 오겠습니다. 감사합니다.
