We had a great holiday in the north west of Ireland and stayed in la lavia which is ideally located for touring Yeats country and south Donegal. The hostess Linda is very friendly and accommodating with a wealth of knowledge of the surrounding area. Beautiful newly refurbished rooms and tasty breakfast. We will be back !!

la famiglia che ci ha accolti è stata veramente gentilissima, nonostante siamo arrivati in ritardo. casetta incantevole, con vista sull'oceano e splendida area pranzo. colazione deliziosa e incredibilmente abbondante.

Stayed at La Lavia for just 1 night en route from Clare to Donegal. Location: just off the N15 in Grange, a short drive to the beach at Streedagh Point, and a 2-minute drive back to Grange for pubs, restaurants etc. We ate at Lang’s following our hostess’s recommendation. Peaceful location, lovely views. Room: we had room 1, which comprises a double and single bed, with en-suite shower. Spacious and spotlessly clean. Breakfast: we were asked what time we would like breakfast and whether we wanted a cooked breakfast when we checked in. A choice of cereals, juice and bread were available in the breakfast room. I appreciated the cafetiere of coffee, rather than being offered coffee from a jug of filter coffee, which has been the case in other b&bs. Summary: a sweet little no frills b&b (3 rooms), excellent value for money; welcoming and friendly hostess (thank you, Linda).…

We stayed for a night as a last minute booking. The hosts were very welcoming and took us to our relatives house as finding your way around the country roads isn't easy. Small room, perfect for pour needs and a great breakfast the next morning. Thanks
