Have stayed at this hotel and loved it. Are planning on staying there again for a few days. Concerned that someone reports that the property has been flooded/mildewed/whatever. Note that the reviewer has only 1 post, so question whether this is competition.
HOTEL STAFF: Since you do not dispute the charges that you have a a motel that has been flooded and mildewed, assume that is correct. Your response to this inquiry will determine whether I, my family and maybe a few others on the Internet will stay at your property again.

In the last ten years Tomball area has seen many harsh weather conditions including heavy rain and even hail storm but Our Hotel has never had any flood situation. This area has a lot of rain and in some seasons, humidity is quite high. We also have a indoor Swimming Pool. Indoor Pools are great but do give rise to humid conditions. We continue to make efforts and now we have also acquired additional portable de-humidifiers for the Swimming Pool area. We will also use these in other areas as needed. But things are fine.
As for the mildew... In Hotels, major cause is water damage in bathrooms mostly due to human error. This causes mildew buildup in the area below. This is an ongoing thing and maintenance person and house-keeping staff work on these issues. Sometime we get outside help to do the treatment. Comfort Suites are monitored by Choice Hotels and Mildew Management is priority matter and they have very high standard in place. All Choice Franchise Hotels including ours are inspected regularly and Passed based on a Criteria that also include Mildew management. Hotels have to meet the set high standards and requirements to Pass the Inspection. There is no way around it. Our Hotel meet these requirements and Pass the Inspection. We will continue to keep these high standards.
We aim to continue our efforts to further improve the facilities and our Services. We also want to increase the number of Happy customers from the present about 87% to as high as we can get.
We are not perfect and we are not the Best Hotel there is ... but we are trying to improve by taking action and making efforts... Our Staff is probably among the BEST.
