I found myself with a leak in my home which left me without any hot water or heating, and a big square cut open in my living room ceiling by an asbestos contractor as part of an ongoing emergency repair over the festive period. I had to get online to be able to work. I am a key worker responsible for the backbone of many important and critical sectors of the country. I booked a room on a “workspaces” day rate for a single person, just for the day, specifically so I could plug my laptop in on the desk and do some work. However, while en route to the hotel, I received a call from Chris (I think that was his name) asking me the reason for my stay. After telling him of the above, he agreed to let me have a room. 5 minutes later, Chris calls again to tell me I am not welcome at the hotel and I would only be welcome if I was an NHS key worker. All other key workers don’t matter. Little does Chris know about my job, and little does he know about his own job and how to behave and talk to people. I expected more from this hotel, especially as a diamond member. In a nutshell, I was walked from an empty hotel without any valid reason or willingness to listen. And I was spoken to like dirt. It can’t get worse than this. I won’t let this single disgusting experience stop me from staying my nights at Hilton brands, but I certainly won’t be in a hurry to stay or recommend this one in Blackburn. The Premier Inn provides a much better service in this town!…
Had a lovely couple nights at this hotel. Clean and fresh, from begging to end, everything was perfect. The staff were absolutely super, a special thank you to Victoria, Chloe and Nas... look forward to visiting again in future.
I was in Blackburn on business and heard this hotel had just opened.. placed on Frontier Retail Park it was ideally located to my place of work. I was welcomed with smiles on every face I encountered nothing was beyond the team. The hotel is so modern and everything was sparkling brand new and spotlessly clean I had the grab & go bag in the morning which had everything I needed for the rush to work- I was almost late, getting as much time in the bed as I could!! Cant wait to go back!
I chose to stay at the Hampton as I was in Blackburn on business and heard it was a newly built hotel with a huge car park and I can definitely say I was not disappointed. Upon arrival I was greeted with a very warm welcome. The staff and the service throughout my stay were both amazing! The hotel is modern and the cleanliness is outstanding. Breakfast is a grab & go bag with plenty inside! This is definitely a hotel I would recommend when staying in Blackburn and I will be returning!
