This is NOT the oldest Japanese restaurant in geneva the Yamakawa was the first to open for the visit of the Emperor many many years ago. Unfortunately Mrs Yamakawa died and her children sold the restaurant. Its been resold again since and is no way a good , its now called Kakinuma, 3 rue Henri-Blanvalet Eaux-Vives.
The Fuji was owned by a couple Mme Japanese and Mr. Italian hence the restaurant down stairs, I took Italian lessons with Mme many years ago. I find the Fuji good at mid day and like most restaurants better value then in the evening which tend to be rip offs.
